Our Story

The Barn on Flaxton was established in 1969 and is perfectly positioned between Mapleton and Montville, perched on the Blackall Range of the Sunshine Coast. Local owners Dani and Rach are passionate about offering great food and coffee in a relaxed and homely atmosphere.

Flaxton is a quaint and charming hinterland village with a friendly and vibrant community, that offers a tranquil and unique mix of dining and shopping experiences.

The Barn on Flaxton has built a reputation as a popular locale to meet up with family & friends for coffee, breakfast, lunch or high teas. The Barn continues to grow in popularity amongst locals and visitors alike and offers a fully licensed venue with a fresh seasonal menu and a large variety of giftware, produce and local art.
